CHILDREN NATURE CONSERVATION CLUB

The children nature conservation club is an organisation established by three ladies who have strong interest and knowledge on conservation, the goal is to involve young generation in nature conservation.

WHAT WE DO

  • We provide conservation education to children and youth lives adjacent to protected areas.
  • We provide outdoor classroom outreach programmes to children and youths.
  • We also empower women and encourage them to love nature as we believe. 'Women are the source of nature'.
  • We plant as many trees as possible for a Green economy.
  • We clean the environment and recycle waste materials for a cleaner environment.
  • We do Outreach programs(Outdoor classrooms)
Meet the Founders

We explore nature with children by teaching them importance of nature and how to conserve their environment for a better tomorrow.

The Co-Founder

My name is Happyness Mwenda,26 years of age.A conservationists and tour guide by professional. She believes that women are the source of nature that's why she came up with the idea of establishing the organisation which deals with provision of conservation education to the young generation. She is a young and wild woman with a dream for a better conservation world. She is a nature lover,friendly,team player,mentor and a change maker.She believes in hard working, networking with people,empowering women and youth in nature conservation. She lives her dream in CNCC,she also encourages women to join hands for conservation. She is a 'Girl for all project' and she believes that "if you educate one woman/child today you can change the world tomorrow"

ACHIEVEMENTS WE MADE

  • We planted more than 5000 trees in schools hospitals and village offices.
  • Reaching many children and students in different streets and schools.
  • Establishing strong collaboration with other environmental organisations inside and outside the country.
  • Exchange programs and partnerships with NABU TÜBINGEN in Germany.
  • Learning and experiencing different cultures and conservation programmes in Europe(Germany)
  • Found small nature conservation clubs in schools and village communities such as Mazingira club,Panda Mti,Usafi Group and Tupende Wanyama group.
